Below is an invitation to help Dr. Knox. If you have a story that you would like to share please get in touch with Michelle. She is a compassionate mother and a dedicated researcher and clinician to the cause of preventing violence.

I find I am frequently re-telling the stories that I hear from people I meet who raised kids without corporal punishment (or stopped using it at some point), and how their kids turned out successful without it. I would like to include these stories in my presentations. Do you know of anyone who would be willing to email me a few sentences (or more if you like :) about such experiences? I am interested in getting stories from parents from a diversity of sociocultural backgrounds.

This would be for me to use when I do presentations about ACT and about corporal punishment. I think that people need stories about real people. I can use a pseudonym or just your first name when I present it.

Please send me your stories! And thank you!
